    Great for all conditions

Recently skied in a resort in cold and very cold conditions in Colorado, including bluebird days, deep powder, and some rain. Capow bib was incredibly comfortable and felt like it was barely there. Very flexible and has great pockets for phone, keys, wallet etc.

Since it is a touring bib, it's quite thin so definitely get an additional mid-layer for your legs if you run cold or if the weather is very cold.

    Nice Bibs

    Pretty fantastic.

Fabric is pretty light, I would not recommend this for a daily resort pant, but seems well suited for touring. Reinforcement on the ankle cuffs but not on the knees and seat. As a split boarder, reinforced knees would be nice. The cross ventilation is awesome.

I am 6’2” and 225lb and the large was a little small. The XL fits perfectly. I was worried I would be swimming in it based on some of the other reviews. I would recommend sizing up not down based on my experience. The xl allows for plenty of room for layering but doesn’t look overly baggy.

The only thing I wish these had would be full length leg zips and velcro closure gaiters, but hardly a deal breaker.

Good bibs that need a slight amount of adjustment

Having used these bibs for around 75 days of riding so far i can confidently say that these bibs are good, but not great. For the good, these bibs have solid construction, durable materials, and are reasonably waterproof.

Unfortunately there are several downside to the bibs due to how some of the features dont quite meet quality of life expectations. Some examples of this are:

    1) the front zipper doesnt come down far enough to piss out the front comfortably. This is a pain when youre trying to do a quick pitstop in the trees but you gotta hold your bibs in place the entire time so you dont soak yourself.

    2) the beacon pocket doesnt fit larger beacons comfortably. It is quite difficult to slide my bca t4 in and out of the pocket so i have to use the chest harness instead. One of the features that sold me on this bib was the dedicated beacon pocket so its a bummer that it doesnt work well.

    3) another feature that sold me was how this bib was talked up for touring. Unfortunately the bib still runs quite warm due to the venting not going down quite far enough

    4) the hand pockets sit at a really awkward place on the bib so that if you put anything long in them vertically you cannot bend down without getting stabbed. In the stomach. I would normally keep some snack bars in those pockets but i cant actually put anything in them which is another big disappointment.

Overall the bibs are good and have a ton of potential, but unless some of those design features change i will be…
