Women's Hut Trip Essentials

Staying in a fully stocked cabin, sitting high in the alpine backcountry, with ten of your best riding buddies is the best way to spend several days in the backcountry. With a good variety of terrain, you can always find fresh turns and, more often than not, you're scoring powder. This is what we make gear for.

Between our best-selling outerwear pieces for women, the Stella Jacket and Chariot Bib, and our unisex Pack Jack for warmer days and sweating it out on the skin track, we got you covered. Grab a Merino T and a Peaking Hat for good measure, and live your best hut-life.

Here's a collection of some of our picks for hut trip essentials, and some of our favorite things to do on a hut trip. We hope you get after it this season!

Drink beer outside.

Wake up early. Climb and ski and repeat all day. On the long skin back to the hut, your legs are tired but your stoke is high. There's no better way to cap off a long day than with a cold beer. If you're the first group back to the hut, surprise the stragglers of the group and meet them outside with fresh pitchers. It's just proper backcountry etiquette.

Hut Life is the Best Life.

Pump it out.

There's going to be a down afternoon. It could be the weather or your sore legs that send you back to the hut early, but there's always time and energy to build a pump track. Fastest time top to bottom. Winner take all.

The Chariot bib is absolutely the best pant you could have on a hut trip. It's stylish, super functional, and keeps you dry all day long. Not to mention, if you're spending all day in your snow pants, you better have an easy way to use the bathroom. Drop-seat zipper...Eureka! Thanks TREW! Stoked for my next hut trip.
