Gilles spends over 125 days per year guiding and dialing in his backcountry system. He defines style as the ability to flow intuitively through the terrain, gliding uphill, flowing through the transitions, and finding a fluid line on the descent.
With Gilles at the helm, the LW 3L collection is designed to move quickly through the mountains without distraction, supporting the pursuit of fluid style. All technical features such as pockets and vents are optimized to work seamlessly with a backpack, climbing harness, radio, and other alpine gear - and the new 3L7D fabric is both durable and lightweight with a 20k waterproof rating and 30k+ breathability rating.
Allow us to introduce you to the all-new LW 3L collection...
Ultralight, for the ultra-good times.
Le Skieur Anorak is the product of a two-year collaboration with Swiss Mountain Guide, Gilles Sierro, and the TREW Experimental Division. The prompt was to reimagine an ultralight touring shell to Gilles’ specifications and effortless style. We can sum up Gilles' style with this mantra: make hard things look easy and have no wasted effort.
This is a bib for long days up high. We believe that softshell pants are best-suited for Aspen’s apres scene (blame our stubborn CEO); hardshells are lighter, more windproof, and more waterproof. To pull off the perfect combination of lightweight minimalism and rugged durability, we used two new hardshell fabrications: the 3L7D ultralight, waterproof shell and Vectran(R) reinforced instep protection.
Driven by the relentless pursuit of enhancing Peak Enjoyment, we bring you The Experimental Division (Ex Div).
The TREW Experimental Division is a platform to showcase innovation, push the envelope, create what has not yet been created, venture past the conventional, and push the boundaries of what is considered possible. The LW Bib + Le Skieur Anorak are the first products to be brought forth from Ex Div.
