It's been a long time coming, and we're buzzing with excitement to finally launch our newest TREW kit for groms out there chasing pow.
We put kids front and center as we designed this all-new jacket and bib: chunky zippers, big pockets, bright colors, and comfortable fabrics all make the Cano jacket and Mega Blast Bib a quick grom-favorite.
And parents can rest easy knowing that we didn't pull any shortcuts, packing this winter kit with the same rugged construction, quality workmanship, feature-rich designs, and 20k/20k weatherproofing that TREW is known for.
Not quite here but on its way, our new kids outerwear is expected to ship out between Oct. 30-Nov 8, 2024
Why do we make kid's gear now? Because we have children and we need to get them outside.
The kid's outerwear market is full of options, but we felt there was a lot of room for improvement. We approached designing our kids' gear from two perspectives: the kid's mindset and the parent's.
Kids grow FAST. To help get more life out of your kids' gear, we've included growable bib straps and rippable Growing Seams in the arms of the Cano Jacket and the legs of the Mega Blast Bib so that you can add more length as you need it!
We've included strategically zoned synthetic high-loft insulation throughout the kids kit to add a lot more cozy to the equation. We can't guarantee that this will avoid all major mid-slope meltdowns, but it will definitely help keep the good times rolling for longer!
We love pockets at TREW, so it should be no surprise that our kids kit has a multitude of storage space - including our fave bib chest Lunch Box pocket - for the little rippers among us. Chunky zippers and easy velcro flaps make pocket access a breeze so no sandwich gets left behind!
Just because they're small doesn't mean kids don't overheat. That's why we've included the same airflow systems that we've used for years in our adult gear, including armpit vents in the Cano Jacket and outer leg vents in the Mega Blast Bib.
Bathroom breaks in snow gear are always a bit chaotic, but we're here to help with that: our Mega Blast Bib offers a front fly zip as well as a long side zip, making urgent nature calls as easy as 1, 2, 3.
Keeping track of your mini shredder just got a whole lot easier with these bright colors. The oversized hanger loop on the back of the Cano Jacket also makes hanging and drying super easy, while also doubling as a quick grab point for lift pickups and the like.
Keeping kids happy out on the snow was our main goal with this collection, and there was no better foundation to build the kit from than our TREW-trusted PNW 2-Layer fabric.
Supple and soft to the touch but still bomber as ever, this 2L fabric is almost like a bulletproof cloud suit for everyday on the mountain; from sunny skies to snow apocalypses, the Cano Jacket and Mega Blast Bib is all you'll need to weather any storm.
