I like a longer fit to cover my butt and this meets the bar. I really love the main zipper opening from the top or bottom making access to my bibs easy. One pocket is large to throw my gloves in and the other chest pocket is small for a phone. I also like the interior pouch to put things in. I like larger fitting jackets so I can layer up. I also love the color. I also found this jacket to be super breathable which helped regulate my temp. The purple is a little more vibrant in real life which I like. I am a female and normally wear size XL in women's and went with the large in this mens jacket and it's the perfect fit. The sleeves are a little long for me but I attribute that to being a mens jacket. This jacket is made for touring but I am using it in resorts as well so the only thing I wish it had was a wrist pass pocket. Dude or gal... if you're looking for a light touring anorak this is the one to get! @Trew - would love to see this color as well as longer fit options in a womens line (mainly so I can get sleeves that fit!). Absolutely the best ski jacket for my needs. I can't rave about it enough. Personally, I like a lightweight jacket with only the essential features and none of the bells and whistles, like a powder skirt. First off, this jacket feels soooo comfortable and breathable. Paired with a nice baselayer and some sun soaking, this jacket almost makes you feel like you're wearing your favorite cozy hoody at home. The fit is relaxed, and as a 5'6" female with bit of muscle, I went for the XS, and it definitely has that freeride feel. It's got the best steeze-to-weight ratio of any uber technical jacket I've seen out there. It's lightweight, simplified, and built for touring (and resort), and it really adds some cool factor into the ultralight world. This jacket is built for both the uphill and the downhill. The 3L fabric proves itself to be wind and waterproof yet thin and lightweight without compromising performance. The pockets are staged beautifully with flawlessly easy access to a skin pocket and incidentally a pass pocket. The two-way zip on the main middle zipper is a great feature because it allows me to sneakily unizp from the bottom-up to access my beacon. I wear the Capow bibs, and the compatibility between the jacket and the beacon pocket in this case is impeccable. As a bonus, the jacket folds in on itself very easily into the skin pocket. One thing I would add here is a zipper pull that flips over so that the jacket can pack in on this pocket from the inside out. There… Loading...
