    was skeptical

When I first tried these on at home, I initially thought these were too thick and stiff for uphill travel, and with my barefoot inseam a little longer than 32.5'', I regretted buying the longer inseam. It felt awkward, coming from using OR Hemisphere bibs that are super light and minimalist. I got to take the capow out last night and now I definitely love the length, especially because my AT boots are on the shorter side . It turns out the pant leg moves great going uphill --the articulated knee and loose fit all felt very smooth and easy. While the OR hemispheres are lighter, no better or worse than capow, I love the capow for feeling more durable, a better barrier between me and elements, while having a better design for dumping heat at both inner and out thighs, you can even unzip at the butt, and the torso on the way up if need be. Someone else mentioned the kokatat dry suit butt zip in comparison, and I have to agree with her--- this butt zip is way easier to use, I did not struggle to get layers out of the way or putting them back. It was a super awesome access point instead of the typical one long side zip that exposes your torso to the elements. I am getting used to the pockets near the chest being so small -they are perfect for the small clip lights I use, chapstick and beacon. The phone goes in one of the thigh pockets which is way more convenient than I ever imagined, and I don't notice it /it does not heed uphill movement. The fit was tricky, because if I tried…

    F I N A L L Y!!!!

Let a girl vent a little bit here. As a tomboy , living life having no stretch to snow pants ain't working for me. The amount of duct tape and home-aide stitching to repair the ass n crotch portions of my old gear has been ridiculous in my perspective. That was the old way of snowboard clothing. Now we have the capow bib!!! Thank the lawd above and mostly TREW for getting it right. These bad boy bibs don't chafe the girls or bust out at them thick thighs, theres room for everything. Plus if you gotta go you have the zipper booty right back there the those mountain moments of reflection (taking a 1or 2) without getting your other bits frozen JUST CAUSE YOUR A GIRL. Thank you so freaking much TREW. Yall get it! My whole body thanks you.

    god's gift to tall women

I'm loving my new Capow bibs! The drop seat is *chefs kiss*. I have used these primarily on backcountry days and a couple resort days, and I could not be happier with my choice. They definitely run more "relaxed" but I appreciate having room to move when hiking up the mountain.

As a taller than average woman (6'0"), thank you so much for making an extra length product. Literal heaven in my world.
