We've had our eye on Dome Fleece for awhile now. Known for their colorful and unique fleece beanies, we'd been racking our brains on how to collaborate with this incredible creator on a unique product for The Afterlife. Without further ado, we'd like to give a *warm* welcome to The Fleecey Bucket Hat hot off the Juki! One part fleece, one part TREW outerwear, we love what Zoe came up with to give old TREW threads a second-chance.

Heyyo! Zoe here, the one woman show behind Dome Fleece. I started making hats in early 2022 for all of my friends in an attempt to stay cozy in the backcountry. What started as a fun little hobby slowly snowballed into a passion project that fuels my winters. 

What's it like to make a product out of recycled TREW gear…..  

It’s truly like doing a puzzle. Trying to fix the pieces around odd shapes, zippers and pockets while trying to use as much material as possible. It can be a challenge, especially that first cut into a pair of bibs! Getting to see outerwear that I utilize everyday in the winter take on a completely different shape and function is a really special experience.

Where do you ride in the winter?  

Alpental in Snoqualmie pass is home mountain for me. Anything in the back bowls is epic!
