Ginny White is a pleasure to be with in the mountains. She is comfortable in uncomfortable situations, exudes a quiet confidence, and seems to generally enjoy herself at all times. Oh yeah, and she rips. In short, Ginny is the ideal backcountry partner. A fifth-generation Banffite with a mountain guide for a father, Ginny was destined to be at home on a snow-covered peak, but, like many-a-wayward youth in Canada, Ginny was dedicated to hockey and socializing with friends. Backcountry skiing made its way back into her life as she left the university, and Ginny has quietly dedicated her life to becoming a backcountry guide and bringing backcountry education to a new generation of backcountry skiers and snowboarders.
