Cannot wait to get them in action

Just got them, the color is nice and they look really high quality and an amazing bib. They fit great too, nice room for layering. I cannot wait to try them on the ice coast this winter! Really put them to the test. Definitely recommend.

This is it

First time wearing non-insulated gear, and first time with a bib. I went in with some trepidation but I'm officially a convert.

I can't speak to its performance in powder or backcountry, but in varying hot/wet/icy weather in an Aussie alps resort it performed well above my expectations.

In searing hot sun, it vented nicely while my insulated friends were working up a sweat. When the wind whipped up, only my exposed bits felt it... inside my bib (and Jefferson jacket) I was cozy and comfortable. Later in the week when the sleet rolled in and the chairs were a mix of ice and/or soaking wet, I stayed bone dry. Zips everywhere made stashing stuff easy, and bathroom breaks were a breeze.

I did find out the hard way that the coldness of the chair will transfer through easier... which is obvious in hindsight. Next time the lifts are icy I'll reach for a thick mid layer instead of just a super warm base layer.

As for sizing, perhaps if I was trying it on in store I would have given the Small a go to see how they compare. In just a baselayer the Medium is fairly roomy up top for a skinny guy like me, but it's good to know I could comfortably layer a thick hoody in there if I need to without feeling constricted.

I couldn't be happier with my choice of gear. Super impressed with the stitching quality, materials, and attention to detail. Love the heavy duty sections on the bottom of the legs. This thing is rock solid and no doubt going to last me many many seasons.

So far so good

Since I bought these in the summer, I haven't had an actual chance to put them through the ringer yet. so my review is just first impressions. I wished I could give 10 stars for the customer service, I was working with Andrew to understand how the Trew's sizing is compared to other brands. (I've got one of those short and stubby bodies so i'm in between sizes. I'm 5'-8" about 185-188lb on a good day. I got a beer belly and need the extra room... haha! so I went with a XL-Short. )Andrew was so patient with ALL of my ridiculous questions. I really appreciate the type of folks that works at Trew! thank you guys!!!

the fabric feels super bomber so I'm assuming the waterproofing will be legit on these. there are tons of pockets everywhere and clips inside the pockets so I'm looking forward to using them. my only complaint, (I don't even think you can call it that.) I wished the Trewth bib has a full zipper like the Capow bib so it makes getting in an out a tad easier. (all of my previous bibs were that way so its probably just a knit-picky thing.)
