XXL Bibs that actually fit!

I was on a snowpants buying saga this year, because my old bibs were a bit too tight for the backcountry adventures I had planned this season. I tried on bibs from all the brands in an XL and none of them fit (mind you I am an XL in most of my clothes). I tried on XXL bibs from brands that make them and they were comically large on me. I decided to email my sizing info into Trew to see what they recommended. They suggested the PRIMO in an XXL and I went for it and ordered them in the Frosty White. I could not be happier with them, they fit me perfectly and are probably the most comfortable bibs I've ever owned. I live in Canada and still think these are 100% worth the price and the duties, especially if you are having a hard time finding bibs that fit.

Love these bibs!

I have skied about 7 days in these bibs so far and I am super stoked on them! I am 5'10" and 155lb with a generally athletic build and I love how these fit. I tried the Classics first and they were tighter in the thighs and hips than I wanted and the PRIMOs are perfect. I work in the ski industry so I end up spending a lot of time in my gear and I am pleased with the quality and look of these bibs.

Pros:

they look great

the TALL size is actually long enough, which never happens

the drop seat is super convenient

love the color options

waterproof

durable

Cons: (not many)

The only note I would have is that the inner thigh zippers stick out a bit so they catch a bit when hiking. Not a deal breaker at all but a note for future designs.

Honestly, these bibs are so amazing.

I love TREW gear and their mission to get everyone out to enjoy winter sports. I have been through +/- 5 pairs of bib trying to find a pair that would fit my body type (5’ 5”, 220lbs, and short legs). I tried REI, North Face, Patagonia, etc and there just wasn’t a pair of bibs or a fit that ever left me feeling warm and secure in my gear. Until these bibs. Absolute game changer. Yea, they’re pricey, but between the warranty and ability to repair them, I plan to still be wearing these in 20 years.

Fantastic for petite women

I happen to be 5' 3 3/4" so just on the cusp of regular and short. I opted for the short and the fit was great. I extended the suspenders to allow more rise. Pockets are well placed and plentiful. I bought these bibs specifically for the rear panel, and this is a game changer!

Lovely!!

At 5ft tall, the short ones are still a little long for me, but I love them so much. Great quality and amazing customer service!
