Poly stinks. Cotton sucks. Merino rules.

Our best-selling T-shirt is back, better than ever, with a lighter and more durable Nuyarn construction.

To stay dry and comfortable all day, there's no better material to have next to your skin than merino wool. Nuyarn enhances the natural benefits of merino by innovating the construction of the yarn, allowing us to build garments that are stronger, lighter, warmer, stretchier, and quicker to dry. Oh, and most important, they still don't stink.

*Do NOT put in the dryer! See Care Instructions below for more info.

Great shirt for skiing and any sort of outdoor activity

So cozy, great for wicking. I will wear this on hikes in 85 degree weather too. Great to wear on long flights too- the wool absorbs the smell

    Best T-Shirt Ever

I mean, for $75 it should be, right? But it actually is.

    Not worth it

For $70, you can get better quality wool T-shirts elsewhere. This one is extremely thin--almost sheer--and the material is scratchier than other wool shirts at this price point. It's also huge for the size; definitely size down if you want a tighter or more flattering fit.

But my main complaint is that despite being 30% nylon and using a fancy patented spinning technique boasting about unheard-of durability, one of the two shirts I ordered managed to get a hole right in the middle of the chest after barely 3 weeks of wearing it casually a few times a week. It was not treated badly or even washed once. To be fair, the Trew people offered to replace the shirt if I paid for shipping, but I find that I don't want another one.

    TREW Gear

Nate, thanks so much for sharing and sorry again that this shirt didn't work out for you!

We are always working to improve our gear, especially our new Nuyarn products, and we have passed your feedback along to our design team to be considered in upgrades + updates to this fabric for the future; merino wool is always a tough fabric to keep maintain without any holes or pilling due to the nature of the fabric, but hopefully with more dialing in on the fabric side of things we can build a more robust line of base layers in the coming years. If you ever do change you mind and want to get a replacement tee, just let us know!
