I friggin love my stella jacket primo and chariot bibs. First off I plan to have this kit for a long time. The green color I think is timeless and always a good decision. And TREW is awesome enough to offer a legit short length in their pants/bottoms. Bc of this, it's pretty much the first time in forever that I've had pants and a look that actually looks good, normal, and fits (and not like I am drowning in a ton of outerwear while looking a bit ridiculous). And for that, it's kind of a game-changer. Thank you for your stuff, TREW I am a happy, warm, dry, comfy snowboarder and outdoor enthusiast - and I highly recommend TREW to anyone looking for high end, durable outwear.

I've tried many different brand bibs, and this one is just simply the best. The pockets, the fit, the style the functionality... its all dialed perfectly. This only bib I will ever use. And the quality is so great it will last you a long time! I only got a second one so I could have more colors.

I really wanted to love these bibs! Other people are fanatical about them, which is why I gave them a go. I do love the color, and the other color options and these are definitely more wind and waterproof than my other bibs. The fabric is also more durable, if you're skiing through trees or bushwhacking ;)
However, these were basically unwearable without adding a belt. The waist is really wide, which is great to accommodate strong hips and thighs, but they would slide down whenever I was wearing them. The shoulder straps aren't useful, and undo themselves very quickly after you've tightened them up, thus the belt to keep them up. I'd seen this (should strap) issue in a couple other reviews and thought it wouldn't be a big deal, but it was enough of a problem I had to buy the belt to keep these in a reasonable position when I was skiing or touring.
The inside of thigh zips also weren't my favorite - I definitely prefer outer zips for cooling off. They're more effective than these inner zips and easier to manage. More a preference thing.
I'll also say, I did not love the bucket seat zip for bathroom breaks. I found the zipper hard to use, and it frequently gets stuck as I'm trying to undo the flap, or do it up again, which is particularly annoying in the backcountry. The traditional bib with a side zips is easier to use for bathroom breaks, and it's easier to get your layers back on after.
With that in mind, I do appreciate a piece of gear designed with women in mind,…

I LOVE these bibs!! They are perfect: a lot of women’s bibs are too tight, which totally defeats the purpose. Bibs should be comfy! The fabric is very durable and I haven’t been cold in them yet. My new favorite!
