I love this jacket! It fits great, it looks great. It performs amazingly. It's spacious enough to fit layers under when it's cold but fitted enough to look flattering. We skied in heavy rain at one point and the jacket held up well. Haven't skied off-piste in it yet but the technical features of the jacket will fill me with confidence when I hit the powder. The quality is exceptional! It has all the features that high end big name brand jackets have. I have always struggled with plus size sizing in the ski industry. Most brands don’t accommodate wide hip ladies, they tend to fit like a glorified boxy men’s jacket. While Trew does run a bit on the smaller size they do go up to a 4x which is so nice. I am 5’10” typically wear a size 16/18 top and a size 20/22 pant. I ordered a 4x in the jacket to compensate for my large hips. The shoulders are a little big and the sleeves are too long but honestly it’s the best fit I’ve had in years! The jacket is super comfy, and water just beads off it while still being breathable. I have worn it in all types of snow/sleet/rain conditions over the past month or so here on the ice coast, and this jacket (and the bibs) kept me dry. It's not tight or constricting anywhere, and I feel very comfortable while wearing it. I love the fact that it has pit zips to help me keep cool on warm spring days.
