    Trewth bib

Absolutely love these bibs in terms of quality, feel of the fabric, weather protection. It was between these and the fly low baker bibs… these are much more substantial, better choice for resort. I would not want to tour in them both because of the weight and the cut of them (on me at least) has somewhat restricted hip flexion (I.e. stepping up makes the bibs feel like they are bunching up). All of that is fine by me since I bought these for resort only and they are excellent for that.

The real gripe with these is the shoulder strap buckle. They loosen up with constantly, more so with bending at the waist but even just with walking. Customer service acknowledged this issue with certain body types, but I’m hard pressed to conceive of a body type this wouldn’t happen with. I actually passed a guy in the lodge last weekend who was fiddling with the straps on his Trewth bibs and we shared a moment of mutual frustration. FWIW, he lives in a very different body type. His bibs were also from last season, so this has been going on for a while.

The strap issue is easily fixed with some basic sewing skills, but IMO high end bibs should stay put without readjusting the shoulder straps after every run. Trew was prompt in responding and agreed to fix the issue at the end of the season, but come on…

Strap issue aside these bibs are awesome and despite the above frustrations I’m a huge fan.

    TREW Gear

Thank you for sharing, Andrew - pumped that you're loving the bibs so far!! We are hard at work on a fast solution for the strap slippage issue you pointed out and we'll be in touch when we have more news to share; you are also welcome to get them altered by a local gear shop or seamster and we'll comp the invoice for you. Sorry for the trouble, but hopefully you're still getting out there and enjoying some time on snow!

Can never go wrong with Trew

This is like my 4th pair of bibs over the years from Trew, and I love the fit. It is always the best fitting and most functional ski bib I have ever worn. always great color styles and I like the little mogul knee block color on this years bib.

    almost perfect

Small Short fits my Asain body exceptionally well. Really love how it fits my legs, just like other said, its roomy but not too baggy. The fabric is 10 out of 10. Customer service is superior. Its one of the best snowboarding gear I have ever owned. There are 2 small things I would like to point out.

    1) If you uses a belt, it creates presure near the crotch zipper area and tears the tape inside( see pic)

    2) The plastic buckle doesnt hold the shoulder strap very well. If you fall pretty hard, the buckle may damages your chest.

    Simply The Best

Bottom Line Up Front (BLUF): The customer service alone has made me a life-long customer! The Bib is an outstanding product that is very comfortable and most importantly, kept me dry in the soggy early season here in the Pacific Northwest. Last year, my "15k" cheap pants soaked through after 3 rides on the lift.

Fit: My biggest issue when deciding on a size was finding a review from someone with a similar build. I'm 6ft even, 210lbs, athletic build with a little extra tummy padding. 45" chest, 39" waist measured just below belly button, and 42" seat and a 32" inseam. Size Large fits perfectly. slightly loose and comfortable while standing and just hugs my body while sitting without feeling like its squeezing me. Some reviews talked about the legs being super baggy, but they aren't. They are baggy enough to allow you to properly layer up without your legs feeling restricted, these are only a shell after all. These are not like some of the parachute MC Hammer pants you may have seen on the slopes recently.

Outstanding Customer Service: I ordered these pants from the Outlet section (last years model) during black friday sales and got back on the website a few days after recieving them (10 days after ordering) to look at jackets and saw that the Bib I just got was now $50 cheaper. I emailed customer support, expecting store credit since it was an outlet item. They got back to me right away, within a day or two, and refunded me the difference right back to my credit…
