Our Capow Collection is most at home in the backcountry

New for 2024, the Capow Jacket offers a relaxed, unisex fit with a straight cut/silhouette and shorter length than our other jackets to be harness-friendly and enhance mobility while moving up high.

Compared to previous years' iterations of the Capow, this jacket will run smaller; if you previously wore a M in a Capow Jacket, we now suggest a size L.

Model info:

    Neck/Hood Issue

I’ve been eyeing this jacket for two years now and finally bit the bullet during the Black Friday sale. I am obsessed with the neon pink/turquoise combo and was so stoked to see that it was just as beautiful in person! This jacket has everything I could ever want, but I’m heartbroken to report there’s no way it can work based on how tight the neck is. I should have combed through the reviews more carefully before purchasing because it looks like this has been an issue for some time now :(

I tugged and pulled, thought maybe my hair was in the way, but the neck presses tightly against my mouth no matter how I try to adjust it without any layers on, and it simply doesn’t leave any room for a gaiter/hooded mid layers. Zipping it up with a helmet leaves me feeling claustrophobic. I’m 5’8”, 135 lbs with a typical to slim sized neck so I don’t know how this isn’t a more pressing issue to fix on what is an otherwise incredible jacket. Would love to purchase again if this ever gets updated!

    Somehow an XS

I am 5’8 and 145 lb female and yet the men’s small here was still too large (especially on the sleeves) returned and going to size down! If you’re a smaller lady maybe reconsider to a different style

    Best she’ll on the market

This jacket by trew is TOP notch. Super waterproof and DURABLE beyond belief. Surprisingly it’s also warm. I only wear a base layer, a tshirt and this jacket on cold high single digit days (up to 30 degree days) and it seems to do pretty well at trapping heat. Eventually you will need to use waterproof treatment for it. I’ve had mine for 3 years now riding 30+ days a season and I find the need just now to do some waterproofing treatment, although I’ve only washed it once (sorry if that’s gross - it doesn’t smell lol). Anyways, I’m trewgear guy for life. Colorways are dope too. Only thing I would add to this Jacket is an insulated pocket for your phone in the chest area. Also a bit pricey, I bet it the price was slightly more reasonable the sales would go to the moooon!!! 🚀
