    multipurpose and comfy

So far, I've only worn this biking and hiking but looking forward to other uses such as xc skiing and snowboarding. Fits great, comfy, love the orange color and high neck zip.

    Comfy and Useful

I've gotten a lot of compliments on this from folks who aren't even into cold weather sports. It's comfortable to wear around town, or under jackets. Shipping was fast.

I'm living in this hoody until it falls apart.

No joke, since I got this fleece about 3 weeks ago I have just been living in it. I've gone touring in it (perfect base layer for early morning tours in Maine), skied lift-served laps in it, worked out in it, gone grocery shopping in it, spent a workday in at (from home)....you get the point. It's extremely comfy, the zip opening is perfect for bundling up or letting some air flow, and as an added bonus it is flattering, too. It also doesn't get too stinky, despite how much I'm wearing it; so far I've washed it once, and that's proved to be easy (per the label) and it came out looking just as good as when I first opened the box on day 1. Do it, you won't regret it.

    Amazing

The search for the perfect fleece has been daunting. Me: 125-130lbs, 5’5, broad shoulders and a narrow waist/hips for a female. Patagonia R1’s sleeves are too short and the hood fits too low over my head. Outdoor research’s vigor is nice fitting but too thin. This fleece fits really well both in the sleeves and hood. I downsized from my normal S to an XS. It’s tight fitting but not uncomfortable. The color is fun too, which is a nice bonus!
