Event Recap: Women's Uphill Bash at Cranmore Mountain, NH

By Katherine Donnelly on

It was a bit bittersweet to see the thermometer make such a spike so early in the season, but the 50+ degree temps and bright sunshine made for an epic time sliding around on snow with over 150 women this past weekend for Inclusive Ski Touring's Women's Uphill Bash at Cranmore Mountain.

Now an annual event, the Women's Uphill Bash brings together group uphill tours, free gear demos, awesome raffles, and the apres party vibes for everyone to enjoy. This year saw nearly 160 ladies, as well as many family members and plus-ones, join in on the fun, and the day was full of making new friends, glitter and sparkles, countless opportunities to learn new things, more than a few sunburns, musical ski poles, and contagious giggling.

It is always such a pleasure to attend events like this, both as a brand and more selfishly as an individual - and I loved being a fly on the wall with my camera in hand to capture the good vibes. Photos do a much better job than I ever could in showing off the festivities, so enjoy some snaps from this year's Uphill Bash from yours TREWly.

Registration opening at 10am, which naturally means eager ladies were lining up at 9:30.

Can't forget to get some raffle tickets! Big prizes were up for grabs - including a $500 TREW gift card - and all proceeds went back to Inclusive Ski Touring programming.

Plenty of opportunity to try out some of the latest and greatest in boots, skis, bindings, and splitboards.

First-timers and veterans alike were taking part in the demos.

Different 'Walk & Talk' tours took place throughout the day, keeping the walking to a slow pace so that folks could chat, connect, and learn.

Some TREW Pinkberry on display thanks to Sasha!

Sun's out, gun's out. And copious amounts of sunscreen.

Cranmore offers a few different uphill routes, making it a great place for an event like this and giving everyone a fun way to hike to the top - or however far they wanted to go.

To cap off the on-snow portion of the day (before everyone ducked into the Pub for a beverages, raffles and delicious apres spread), there was a first-ever game of musical ski poles.

Cranmore will have glitter scattered across their base area for a while. Thanks for having us - until next time!!
