Love the Redesign

This is my second pair of the primo bibs. There was nothing inherently wrong with the one I purchased last year, but I wanted a new color. To my surprise, the new bibs have some notable upgrades. I welcome the slimmer fit. In addition, the suspender attachments were redesigned. Now they're actual clips. The last model's suspenders were a bit odd and would sometimes slip, but I haven't had any issues with the new ones. The bibs have always felt bomb proof, and I'm glad that the new ones have retained that characteristic. Customer services from Trew remains top notch.

Versatile Bibs for Every Condition

These bibs have been nearly perfect. My only critique is that there is no butt flap (only reason for docking a star)! Otherwise these handle the tough days on the mountain in rain or snow. Being just a shell they have plenty of room underneath for layering and have great wind/waterproofness that I need as a patroller.

TREW Gear

Hey Bryan,

Thanks for the positive marks! Generally we utilize the side zip for easy access as needed. ;)

We'll be in touch regarding design though, as we're always curious about new features being desired!

Cheers,
The TREW Crew

Suspender Buckles Do Not Work

The quality and materials of this bib feel great, but there is a glaring issue that renders this (very expensive) bib all but unusable: the buckles that are supposed to hold the suspenders at a fixed length simply do not work, so the bib just falls down. I am experiencing the same exact issue as another reviewer (Jennings) from a few days ago, who attached helpful videos of this problem. This is frankly a bizarre, and highly problematic, issue for what is otherwise a high quality bib.

It's fine

The bibs are great - material and build are not an issue. What IS an issue is the buckles for the bib strap (suspender) adjustment on these. The way they came from the factory was not right, I can't find instructions on how to install them, and the way I think they're supposed to be installed will not keep the straps in place. There is nothing on your website or on internet forums or videos that describe how this system works. I actually almost lost a strap in the middle of a ski day yesterday, and the other one was hanging by a thread. That would have been cool - trying to ride around without anything holding my bibs up. I refuse to accept that nobody else is having this problem. Why make such a janky buckling system??

TREW Gear

Jennings, thanks for taking the time to share your experience - you are not alone in having some issues with the straps on our older TREWth Bib model, but luckily we have some ways to fix that pretty easily. Andrew from our support team will be in touch shortly to help get this remedied for you right away so you can get back on snow without any more gear concerns!
