Cycle Dog is a family-owned business making sustainable, handmade dog products for our favorite four-legged friends. Their focus on sustainability, love of pups, and status as a rad small biz made them the perfect partner to create their very own collection for the TREW Afterlife.

Meet Cycle Dog....
Tell Us About Yourself!
Cycle Dog is a family-owned business making sustainable dog products just across the river from TREW in Portland, OR. Not only are our products well-designed, hand-sewn, AND made in the USA - the majority of them are also made out of discarded bike tubes! Since our founding in 2009, we have upcycled over 2-million discarded inner tubes into pet products. Outside of making products, we also own and operate a dog park and tavern out of our factory showroom where the dogs can play while you enjoy a beer!
Why Did You Want to Collaborate With The Afterlife?
As a fellow Portland business we love working with like minded people. The Afterlife program is so innovative in a world where so much great material goes to waste.
Most Fun Part About Working With Recycled Gear?
It’s easy to start with a blank slate but it’s a lot more fun and interesting to figure out what to do with odd shapes and sizes. The creative challenge reclaimed materials present often results in a really cool end-product.
Favorite Snow Day Adventure With Your Dogs?
We have four catahoula leopard dogs that love to work. Getting them to plow the snowshoe path after a big storm is all time. They live for catching snowballs and wrestling in fresh powder.
