Feast your eyes, mind, and soul on some glorious moments from our most recent annual trip north of the border last April to visit our Capow family at the Blanket Glacier Chalet. For 6 years now (give or take a couple due to COVID) the TREW team has made the trek to Revelstoke, BC for a week-long shred-cation full of epic terrain, sore legs, full bellies, and countless giggles, hoots, and hollers. Where most years we have some content and marketing goals mixed within the fun, with photoshoots and video objectives planned throughout, 2024 was different: we had zero expectations, our to-do list reading "have fun" and that was it. Naturally though, some of the folks who joined in on the trip - cough, Carson and Louie, cough - brought their camera rigs and did what they do best: get that footy. And so here we are, with an incredible recap video from our 2024 Blanket trip; the edit we didn't know we'd get, didn't plan for...and yet it came out better than nearly anything we've ever produced. (Just goes to show that Carson's the man.) It was a huge breath of fresh air, coming into a dream trip with just a hope for snow and a need for some reconnecting with Mother Nature...and we think that our passion, love, and gratitude for the mountains came through in this video in a way that might otherwise be diminished by a marketing brief, prompt, or shot list. But enough chit chat, here's four minutes of pure Monashee magic. All photos from the one and only Brian 'Tobes' Tobin.
