Gilles Sierro x TREW Ex Div.

This is a rad anorak that will definitely score you some style points! It is absurdly light (and almost see through) but still keeps you warm and dry. Is it the warmest or most bomb proof shell? No, if you do a lot of bush wacking or get caught in cold wind or the rain often, you may want something more substantial. Is it harder to get on than a full zip? Sure Is. Is this one of the best lightweight shells for backcountry touring here in Colorado? Yep I think so. Fits a puffy underneath, has well placed and thought out zips, breaths well, covers the butt and looks pretty good. Couldn't be happier.

I have had a number of Trew jackets and this is by far my favorite. The construction is incredibly light weight but still feels durable, and has stood up to me running it through the ringer. On tours it feels really breathable and the zippers are perfectly placed to give you some breathing room and mobility without interfering with your movement. Its seen wet Rainy PNW days and never soaked through, to 0 degree Colorado days where it blocked the wind out perfectly. All in all I would absolutely recommend, if not say get rid of your other jackets and just buy this guy! Also come on the purple is probably one of my favorite colorways Trew has released, how could you not love it.

Bought a XXL I've had this jacket since the first week of January. Used almost every day in some capacity whether it's been skiing, touring, sledding, Nordic skiing, fat biking, walking the dog and snowshoeing. I'm in Yellowknife, NT and it's been down to - 45 C as a temp rating. The zippers have been great, the material is extremely light but had the ability to block the wind fantastically. I'm very impressed. I was coming from multiple years of OR jackets (Ferrosi and Archangel) and this Anorak has sold me on the Trew brand. I'm 6'3, 205 lbs with a flat stomach, 35 inch waist, 46 inch chest. Collarbone to groin n gap is 28 inches. I have room to layer a down, sleeves are nice and long hitting the tips of fingers and finally something low that pretty much reaches my butt. The jacket moves seamlessly with the body in all positions and I feel like Ned Flanders on the slopes. "it's like I'm wearing nothing at all!"
