Black Stone Stitchworks makes handcrafted MTB Hip Packs and other durable cycling and adventure goods out of their studio in Portland, OR!

Founded during the COVID-19 Pandemic, owner Michael Young combined his multi-decade love affair with biking and a new vision for his life that allowed him to express the creativity that felt stifled in his 9 to 5. He started off making packs for his own trips, with rigorous testing and prototyping to get them just right before Black Stone officially launched their design in January 2021.

When not building packs, Michael can be found shredding the sweet loamy ribbons of singletrack throughout Oregon, and spending time adventuring with his family.
