Designed, patterned, and hand-sewn, by herself and her partner Shawn, we love how this collection came together. And best of all, everything is made out of recycled TREW outerwear from our Afterlife Program!

The inspiration for Second Sniffs stemmed from owner and head sewer Hayley Kaufman's experience fostering dogs and witnessing first-hand the immense support needed to sustain animal rescue organizations. She also saw the staggering volume of textile waste and damaged gear that is recklessly thrown into the landfill. With these issues in mind, Second Sniffs creates gear with a dual purpose: supporting nonprofits by donating 5% of our proceeds while reducing waste through upcycling materials.
Trade in your TREW outerwear for store credit, and we'll repair, resell, donate, or recycle it depending on its condition!
This is just one more way that we work hard to keep our customers happy and our products out of the landfill.
