MEET THE MAKER
Luke Mathers is the founder behind Portland-based Truce Designs, creating handmade custom bags and accessories out of recycled materials, all hand-sewn in the USA.
Luke got his start while working in the sailing industry and seeing the amount of waste that stacked up as sails were often retired before the full useful life of the material had run it's course. He started imagining everything he could make out of the waste, and from there Truce Designs was born!
