Crafted with the same bombproof, waterproof materials as our adult line and fine-tuned for the next generation of rippers, this isn’t your average insulated kid’s snow bib: it’s designed for that pure, untamed joy that only a powder day can bring. 

The Mega Blast Bib is packed with parent-appreciated features, including full side vents for temperature control, extendable Growing Seams for those mid-season growth spurts, and the signature Lunch Box chest pocket - no sandwich left behind!

    The Details

    Waterproof

    While not quite as protective as our 3L or 4L options, our 2L collection has a 20,000mm rated membrane and will keep you dry.

    The Fit

    Our 2L collection is inspired by the effortless style and comfort of snowboarding, giving it a looser overall fit throughout.

    Breathability

    Our 2L outerwear with insulation is our least breathable option, making this jacket most at home in-bounds.

    Durability

    Slightly less durable than some of our 3L and 4L options, the PNW 2L fabric touts one of the most durable 2L constructions available today.

    Gators need to be redesigned

    Everything is great except the gators are too tight and very difficult to get over ski boot. Can’t get them over the top buckle so often pull off the top boot which isn’t great when you’re trying to ski all day in cold temps

    Great bibs-cuffs/gaiters are small

    I bought for my 6 and 10 year old. My ten year old can't get the size medium gaiters over her boots. Everything else about the bibs are great. Too narrow at the bottom

    Thoughtful design, flawless execution

    Jetson loves what he calls the "lunchbox" to store his gummies and meat sticks. We, the parents, love the adjustability for size via the straps, and hidden "room to grow." I think the jacket and bib should score higher on the "breathability" scale due to the vents (but I realize that scale refers to the materials used). Both jacket and bibs are warm (enough for VT winters), but well-vented so hiking a park, or in and out of some glades is not only doable but comfortable. We've been lucky to have so many different kits but the Trew Gear kit (jacket and bibs) is by far the best we've used. Two thumbs up!
