The Nuyarn Chill Top is my favorite base layer top for colder days. Warm and comfortable. I like the that the hood is also a balaclava and the fact that the material doesn't smell after multiple wears. I did size down for a more compression fit.

This shirt is comfortable and can provide varying degrees of warmth. I went to a baseball game recently where it was cold and wet. I wore this shirt as a layer and as it became colder and windier I was able to bring up the hood and raise up to neck gaiter and became quite comfortable. I have several of the Nuyarn short sleeve shirts and have loved them as well. It also looks great.

Here in the Colorado mountains (Near Breckenridge) the mornings can be chilly! I've started skins when it's 10° out and they are much warmer than I expected! I still need some sort of active layer, but this with my nano light hybrid hoody, was all I needed as long as I had a little sun! No sun, I just tossed my shell over things and I was nice and warm

The ninja mask is also great!

I have two in my possession. These are my go to for all days Resort skiing, ski touring or hiking. I stay warm, they are incredibly comfortable and the hood is spectacular. I don’t need an additional balaclava unless it is very cold or windy. The hood let’s me quickly regulate my body temperature. The fabric also doesn’t smell even with multiple days of intense use!

On a recent BC ski tour in Iceland my kit was the Chill top , Trewth Bibs and a breathable soft shell. It was perfect for temperatures from 25-35 degrees even with high winds and mixed precipitation. I also used a synthetic puffy for transitions. Give it try.

The tight hood and built-in face covering is PERFECT. I have a weird head, and while I don't use it for skiing, it works so well to hold my hair under my motorcycle helmet and everything that I'm wondering why this kind of thing isn't way more common. Seriously.
