Darker colour than expected but cool jacket

I ordered the cosmic jacket primo mainly because of the pinkberry colour. It looks so cool online. In real life the colour is quite a bit darker. Nothing at all like the images online. It's more toward magenta / purple than I had imagined.

BUT it's still a cool colour and a cool jacket. I have worn it for two weeks free-riding and on-piste up to 3200m on glaciers and down at 1700m in the sunshine. From cold and windy -12 to sunny + 5 celsius. in all conditions so far the jacket has held up pretty well. It keeps the wind out. It's breathable. It kept me dry even when going upside down and crashing in deep snow. The outer material is robust and hasn't ripped or caught on anything. it's plenty baggy enough to layer up underneath. the powder skirt does it's job. I'm happy with the jacket. For info - I'm 6'2.5". 78kg and slim. I went for size M. was worried it wouldn't be long enough in body or arms. Fits perfectly.

Haven’t hit the hill yet, but upon initial inspection, the fit is great, the stitching is tight, and the material/color is on point! Super comfy!

Good jacket but like the powfunk better

Got a cosmic primo and on a whim got a powfunk as well so I could compare fits and send back the one I liked least. Good thing because the cosmic fit me really weirdly. The cuffs wouldn't get as tight as the powfunk and kept falling down to mid hands, and the cuff has an angled cut to it which made the problem even worse. The neck came up to my nose if zipper all the way. When unzipped those extra tall flaps neck kept getting in the way. Even in just a few minutes around the house my wrists and neck were annoyed by the weird fit.

The jacket itself is really nice, fabric seems great to the touch, and fit is such a personal thing. But the powfunk felt way more comfortable to me. Also, I have 40 year old dad bod and the powfunk felt a touch more comfortable.

          4.999/5

My previous Classic Cosmic jacket and bibs have been through 5 seasons (~300 days) and while showing some wear, were still going strong. But it was time for a fresh look and a new kit. First off, the price point and durability that TREW offers cannot be beat. The improvements to the Primo line in terms of the fit are great. I went with pinkberry and blackout for the bibs. My only gripe, and it’s a tiny one, is no heat shrink on the zipper pulls - those knots are not staying! Luckily, some 3M 1/4” heat shrink tubing and a heat gun did quick work. Great product and always pushing the envelope with those colors ;)

          Keep it up!

          Pinkberry is a Lifestyle 😎

I'm a long time fan of the Cosmic jacket. Great fit, super durable, and holds up really well when the conditions are rugged. Extra pumped on the colorways this year and the multiple comments I get every day from people who love the pinkberry
