"The Plus-Size Technical Ski Bibs I’ve Been Waiting For" - GearJunkie
Posté par Katherine Donnelly le

These days you can find our 2024/25 PRIMO Collection, both in women's Plus sizes and men's Extended sizes, featured in a slew of magazines and publications as "most inclusive sizing" and "best sizing options".
But the recent in-depth review of our Chariot PRIMO - Plus from GearJunkie's own Tania Awalegaonkar is probably one of our favorite features. GearJunkie has really put the time and resources into doing the thing right and really getting to know all of the Plus options out there on the market today, so having TREW among their top spots of The Best Plus-Size Ski and Snow Gear for Women of 2025 and earning recognition for the hard work we've been putting into this kit is such a joy.

"In short: With a size run of 1X-4X and multiple inseam options (short, regular, and tall), the TREW Gear Women’s Chariot Bibs PRIMO Plus ski bibs are a stylish, noninsulated, technical, and eco-friendly option for a larger-bodied person who wants one shell to rule them all. The design has ample pockets and functional zippers.
The fabric is waterproof and hardy yet unrestrictive for either in-bounds days or backcountry tours. For the full look, riders can pair these bibs with the TREW Gear Women’s Stella Jacket PRIMO Plus, a well-made plus-size jacket that I also field-tested and reviewed."

A little more about our PRIMO Plus Collection:
Back in 2022 we launched our very first Plus-sized outerwear item with our Chariot Bib PRIMO Plus. It had taken us over 18 months of development, fit testing, and extensive prototyping - with athletes and real TREW customers alike - to make it happen, but it was the beginning of something bigger than just an extended range of sizes. The plus-sized community has long been left in the shadows when it comes to having options for outdoor gear, and that lack of product choice gets even worse as you begin to search through more technical offerings.
We heard and heeded the resounding call from our community for more inclusive sizing in our best-selling, ultra-durable snow gear -- and in the past three years since that first launch, we've built upon the initial successes and lessons learned to keep our PLUS products continually moving forward and progressing.
