TREW X GONE BOARDING
For a third year in a row, we asked students from the Gone Boarding program to present their artistic graphic submissions with the hope of selecting one design for a TREW Gear Accessories capsule.
The prompt: design our new backcountry skiing logo.
The submitted designs TREWly impressed us and showcased an incredible variety of artwork, approaches, and ways of making the brief their own.
With so many favorites, choosing just one was really tough - but after much internal deliberation, Violet's Backcountry Skiing Logo design came out on top.
Gone [backcountry] Boarding
Sorry, the order window for this year's Gone Boarding Tee has closed.
The Gone Boarding Tee will be made-to order. Ordering will be open for the public between May 30 - June 13.
It will then take approximately two weeks to make the products and then begin fulfillment. We aim to have all Gone Boarding orders in the mail to you by Late June.
*Due to this item being made-to-order, all orders will be final sale and will not be able to be returned or exchanged.
Orders can be cancelled or edited before end of day 6/13, but after that orders will not be able to be cancelled or changed.
All proceeds from product sales are being split evenly between the designer and the Gone Boarding Scholarship fund, so you can feel just as good about where you are putting your money as you feel when you're rocking these uniquely fresh designs.
About the designer
We sat down for a quick Q&A with Violet to learn more about her experiences with the outdoors and creative process towards creating the Backcountry Skiing Logo design.
With a mission to take project-based learning to the next level in a way that engages students to be the driving force to take charge of their future, Gone Boarding students collaborate to design, construct, and learn to ride all types of boards including: surfboards, snowboards, skateboards/longboards, stand-up paddle boards, and wake surfboards.
