THE BUTTA DAWGS
Team Butta Dawgs is equal parts flying by the seat of our pants and getting the job done. Amongst the natural difficulty of skiing in the backcountry are cackles of laughter and inside jokes that will be repeated till they die. They're dedicating to not only preserving and respecting the outdoors, but also making sure they live these experiences with light and the simple joy of being a tiny human on this huge planet.
THEORY OF BUTTA
Two rambunctious gals, Maddie Gerritsen and Analise Gates, also lovingly known as the Butta Dawgs, set out on a backcountry quest with one goal in mind: to find the ‘Butta' the source of eternal fame, power, and glorious steeze. Carried by bikes, rafts, skis, and grit, their search for the ‘Butta’ in the depths of the San Juan mountains help them discover the true spirit of adventure. Captured and produced by Brynne Mower and Nils Aberg deep in the high country outside of Durango, CO.
