I have worn it in all types of snow/sleet/rain conditions over the past month or so here on the ice coast, and this jacket (and the bibs) kept me dry. It's not tight or constricting anywhere, and I feel very comfortable while wearing it. I love the fact that it has pit zips to help me keep cool on warm spring days.
