Hey, Bibs aren’t for everyone.

We don’t make pants, we make Trousers. Trousers being the more sophisticated, stylish, and hard-working member of the bottoms family. These Trousers are for climbing uphill and sliding downhill with speed and style, but they also amble and apres with a high degree of comfort. They are more versatile and breathable than their bibbed brethren, and would be a solid choice for any snow rider looking for a “quiver-killer” pant to add to their equipment locker.

Almost...

Almost a great redesign. I like the new PNW fabric and pocket layout, but the deal killer for me was the overall fit. To me, these fit like a well made pair of low rider jeans. The rise from crotch to waistband is much too small, making the fly pretty much useless and also compromised comfort. Personally, I would also prefer if they were a bit shorter. Since they are so long, the fabric bunches up a lot at the knee when wearing ski boots. If I never had to sit in these pants, I probably would have kept them. For discussion's sake, I am 6'1", 190 lbs, wear a size 32 waist 33 inseam in most jeans, and ordered a size large.

Ski Pants aren’t skinny jeans

For 10 years I wore the Eagle pant-had 6 different pair. The new pants do not even measure up to the Trewth trouser at all! I need pants that you can ski in-not to just sit at the bar.

Great quality and good fit

I originally ordered the women's pant and it fit me terribly (very tight in the legs and gaping in the waist). Trew's amazing customer service recommended I try the men's Trouser. I am typically a women's M and took a men's M so I would say these run a little small. As a women these are a little long on me but once I am in ski boots its not a problem, it's actually nice to have the length. Great fit for me and amazing Trew quality. Recommend for women who have athletic, skier legs and don't fit the women's pant comfortably.

Ahhhhh Sweet Relief

Just had my first date with the all new Trewth Trouser up at Mt. Hood Meadows and it went extremely well! After a long season of wearing bibs everyday on the hill these felt AMAZING. Like favorite pair of sweatpants amazing. They are so light and the fit is spot on with plenty of storage options. Don't get me wrong, I'm a bib guy through and through, but when the weather allows it or you want to take a little weight off those shoulders and get loose these trousers are the ticket.

Design flaw

I'm an Oregonian and a big fan of Trew. I love supporting local gear thats born and bread in the PNW. I have trewth bibs which I love and needed new pants, figured I couldn't go wrong. That said these have a serious design flaw that you can't tell from the pictures. Issue is the buttons are tiny! I know slim-and-trim is in these days but these are super low profile and < 1 cm in diameter. What that equals is a cruel joke trying to button them back up after watering the trees. It's impossible with gloves on and no easy task once gloves are off if your fingers a cold and losing dexterity. Sorry Trew Crew but you guys went with fashion over function on these.

Hey Jas, thank you for the constructive feedback and for the continued support! We are looking into different closure options for the next batch of Trousers and hope that we can burli-fy (that's a word, right?) these more in seasons to come. We will also be emailing you privately to discuss this further, so chat more soon :)
