Can’t handle the TREWth? No sweat—the Eagle Pant has you covered. Breathable as a 5k at sea level, tougher than your grandpa’s cast-iron skillet, the Eagle is worshiped by a secret sect of TREWligans who actually prefer pants to bibs.* Despite this heresy, we honor them with the same burly Dermizax® 3L construction, functional design, and liberating range of motion. Further proof of our boundless devotion to all riders, sane or otherwise.

    These things are the tits

Huge fan. Bought these before the 2017 season I believe and they still look brand new after two 40+ day seasons aside from one tiny slice on the inside of one of the cuffs (they aren't invincible). Having never tried bibs, I guess I can't really say these are better, but I guarantee I can take them off faster than bib wearing compadres which can come in handy after a liter of coffee on the way to the hill.

Customer service is fantastic. The packaging is frickin beautiful. The fit is perfectly baggy but functional (5'9" 185 size medium). The hip pockets are perfect for your keys and phone and what not. The cargo pockets are understated but large enough to put your Kinco mitts in while you eat the smashed up PB&J you took out of them.

Only complaint/change I would want to see on future models - It would be sick to have an outer thigh zip for all of the ventilation when skinning or drinking copious amounts of PBR on the beach at A Basin to keep the stuff that matters most comfortable.

Shut up and take my money. These pants rule

DISCLAIMER - I only just received these and it's September 8. They have not been put to use yet.

First off, I want to commend Isabelle, Trew's Operations Manager and the person who responded to my sizing inquiry through Isabelle went out of her way to track down a pair of small in Work Khaki that were sold out online. Isabelle, you're awesome.

Sizing: I'm 5' 11" and just over 150lbs. The small might be the most perfect fitting pant I've ever put on in terms of both waist and inseam.

    Regarding the pant:
    * The material feels rugged but very comfortable. It moves and articulates just as it should.
    * Work Khaki is more of a honey color than is depicted in the photo (ie, a little darker and mustardy) which I personally prefer. I think the color is perfect.
    * Everything on the pant feels durable.
    * The elastic waist adjustment is perfect. Don't ever change it.
    * The hip pockets are just the right size and the zipper pulls feel like they'll last forever
    * The cargo pockets are enormous (a good thing). My only suggestion echos someone else's review in that they might benefit from additional security beyond the Velcro on the flaps. Something that actually seals the pockets would eliminate any worry that things may fall out of them. That said, the flaps do an adequate job of sealing the pockets, I just personally wouldn't feel comfortable putting anything I'm not willing to lose in them.
    * The SuperFabric on the cuffs and kicks is no joke. This stuff feels invincible but it completely pliable.
    * The fit is perfect (for me, anyway) They're not as baggy as I thought based on the photos. There's plenty of room in them and the style of the pants is a perfect balance of straight fit and relaxed.

My expectations for these pants is far exceeded at this point. I'm looking forward to putting them to heavy use.

Just received a new pair in khaki. I have two pair same style and size from previous years and these are much smaller so I need to exchange them. I tried the return system online and it didn't recognize my order. I've been calling customer service all day, leaving messages and there's been no reply. I emailed and no reply. I've been a Trew customer for many years and have 6 jackets and five pairs of pants, mid layers and so on and my wife has 2 jackets and two pair of pants - it's really great quality gear. We love it. But the new inconsistency in sizing and weird customer service has me worried. I only returned and exchanged twice in the past and customer service was excellent. Not this time though.

    Durable Eagle!

Received the Eagle pants with the Cosmic jacket last season and tested it thru all conditions and weather. I'd have to say that these pants performed beautifully whether your on the ski hill or in the back country. Pants protect you from all the elements and has enough vents to cool you should you or it get to hot. Love the pockets that hold everything I need without getting in the way. For really cold days I did have to wear medium weight under clothing, but that has nothing to do with the performance of these pants. Would highly recommend it!
Also, thumbs up for the extra (alligator) skin like material at the bottom of the pants. This is the first pair of pants that my ski edges have not sliced thru. It's things like that, that make a great product!

    Solid pant

Got my pants in the mail today and they are so sick! Was super excited to put them on and was so relieved when they fit me. I ordered the black Eagle in size M. I'm 5'9 155 lbs. They look even better in person than they already do online. Just buy them and see for yourself
