New Favorite Jacket

Awesome shell jacket! Overall, I am super satisfied with the Cosmic jacket. 100% is my new go-to. It is stylish and has many well-thought-out features without doing too much. I feel it is worth the price for the material quality, fit, and details/features:

- Nice, sleek, and straightforward design and colors; lightweight and durable

- Overall, the jacket runs slightly large and a tad baggy, but this gives plenty of room for layering underneath

- Plenty of pockets; large bottom pockets provide ample storage, but beware the zippers are higher up and the pocket extends all the way to the jacket's bottom so whatever you store there goes all the way down; top chest pockets are great for a few smaller things. The dedicated pass pocket on the left arm is convenient for resort riding and has room for 1 or 2 small things. My 1 wish is that there was an inside chest pocket for a phone or valuables but being a shell jacket, this may not be possible

- Solid waterproofing and breathability, I have had no issues of dampness and have felt well ventilated with this jacket

- Durable fabric; I've gone through trees and branches and the jacket has held up so far

- Fully zippered underarm vents (AKA no mesh layer) so the zipper never gets stuck, very easy to use and the vents are huge

- Front zipper and collar can go up to just under the nose, so not too high where your vision becomes blocked

- Adjustable hood bungee helps to keep it in place over my helmet and fits with no problem; however,…

love it

Great fit, great material, great workmanship. I'm so impressed it's become my shell of choice for mild-cold weather on and off the mountain.

Nice for PNW snow/sleet/rain

Got to use the jacket at Summit at Snoqualmie while it was raining at the bottom, changing as you go up, and snow at the top. Was outside for about 3 hours and the jacket held up nicely. The hood fit really well over my helmet, and I had good range of motion while on a snowboard. Didn't get wet on the inside at all. The 3L works out well. Photo from a face plant at Crystal, dry snow. My hips are pretty wide, if I let the jacket sit straight, it's very restraining while riding, and buckling. I have been using the bungee cord at the bottom of the jacket to tighten it, and bring it up to my hip bones. Feels kinda goofy, but I'm told it looks fine. And it works fine. It's quite comfy after I got use to it. I wear a bib under it.

Totally Cosmic

I’ve been wearing an older Cosmic jacket for a few seasons, an amazing waterproof burly jacket for all conditions. Just had to upgrade my kit. The new jacket is just as awesome. Definitely recommend!

Already owned some black trewth bibs and wanted to get the black jacket to look like a cool kid, and it delivered! Only have 2 days on it so far, but love the fit and features. Would 100% buy again! Want to try in the BC soon.
