Got hooked on that Purple.... Turns out the Jacket itself is even better than the color ! Excellent construction and pocket placement, plus the style is on point. Durable as ever, dang near perfect fit. Will stand the test for whatever you throw at it and wherever you are in the world. Breathable and Waterproof- Dont know how they did that, BUT THEY DID... and they did it well. Touché Trew.. Touché indeed. They even have an inside pocket for your skins. What else do you want, what else do you need..? The answer: What is Nothing. Mostly a two planker, but will strap to a board every now and then. Loading... Reviewed by Robert G., from United States Verified Buyer Ski or Board Skier Backcountry vs Resort Primarily Resort Age 65-69 Height 6ft 5″ Weight 175-179 Body Shape Skinny Size Purchased M Rated 3 out of 5 Nice jacket, fatal flaw It’s difficult to rate a product that has many great features, but that I won’t get to use and need to return. But here are the details:The Cosmic Primo is an awesome looking jacket. The fabric has a soft feel, has a nice amount of stretch, is pretty quiet, and seems very durable. Pockets are just right in size and placement. I’m 6 feet 5 inches tall, 175 lbs with a 42 in. chest and Trew nailed it with their sizing advice. They recommended I try a medium and it was a near perfect fit, even for my long arms. I was excited that I had finally found my new ski jacket after trying several over the past few seasons. Then, I tried out the hood over my helmet. I tried really hard several times (I really wanted to keep this jacket), but there was no adjusting I could do that I was confident would keep the hood in place with typical movement while downhill skiing. It has a single adjustment point (as mentioned in the product description) behind the head, but I think the size and design of the hood cries out for additional adjustments at the (very large) collar. That would probably solve my problem. I regularly find myself skiing in conditions that warrant constantly keeping my hood in place so it’s an important feature to me. Unfortunately, the hood design on the Cosmic Primo was a deal- breaker for me, and I sadly returned it. Loading... Thank you for the detailed review. We are glad that you found a lot of good qualities that you enjoyed in the Cosmic, but are sorry to hear the hood adjustments didn't work well for you. This is an area of the jacket we have tinkered with trying to create a minimalist adjustment mechanism, streamlined aesthetic, etc. We are always taking feedback on our gear, and this is one item we have heard about, and listened to. Next season will see additional adjustment locks for our hood and collar on the Cosmic. We hope that you might check it out when the new line drops this fall!
