This is the jacket I’ve been searching for. Extremely functional, I love the pocket locations, size and fit of hood and neck area. Waterproofing is 10/10. The fit is very flattering, it has a feminine cut that doesn’t sacrifice any steeze. I am a “true to size” Small, but I purchased a medium for an oversized look. I think I would be happy with either size, just depends what vibe you want! Very very happy! Loading... Love my new jacket! The butterscotch color on top of the black is so cool. And the fit is so perfect. I have pretty long arms, so I appreciate a jacket that does too! It's effortlessly comfortable and kept me warm on two very chilly ski days so far. Loading... Review posted Angie Reviewed by Angie, from Canada Verified Reviewer Reviewing Stella Jacket Classic Ski or Board Snowboarder Backcountry vs Resort Primarily Resort Age 35-39 Height 5ft 6" Weight 195-199 Body Shape Curvy Size Purchased XL Rated 5 out of 5 Still great after 3 years! This Stella classic has been my primary jacket since 2019 and it is holding up very well after 100+ days . I love the earthy-yet-eye catching block colours. I appreciate, and use, all the pockets. Great quality, and excellent waterproofing - crucial on Vancouver Island where we often experience sloppy pow and mixed precipitation. I have always found it brutal looking for high quality outerwear that suits me. Even confident women know too well how easy it is to blame our bodies when they don't match the averages. I'm so grateful for a good fit from a company that seems committed to inclusive sizing. Here are my measurements (in inches) for perspective, as I find that very useful myself when ordering outerwear online. Waist - 34 Seat - 46 Chest - 43 Mid-bicep - 13 Inseam - 32 Thigh - 25I'm fairly soft-bodied and tend to fluctuate +-15lbs. I carry weight in my tummy, hips, bum, and chest. I'm active, but definitely not the typical athletic build. This jacket fits great everywhere, except it's tight at the bottom hem, right around my hips. That said, I wouldn't want it any shorter and appreciate the bum coverage. The XL has just enough room that I get away with it. I layer a lightweight down jacket underneath with no problem. The specs of the new Stella Primo look promising and I'm eager to try it when it's time to retire the classic. Loading... Reviewed by Kathleen B., from United States Verified Buyer Reviewing Stella Jacket Classic Ski or Board Skier Backcountry vs Resort Primarily Resort Age 30-34 Height 5ft 2″ Weight 100-104 Body Shape Skinny Size Purchased XS Rated 5 out of 5 I'm in love with this jacket! This jacket is everything i've wanted in a Ski kit. The material feels sturdy but not stiff, excellent features including zip-off powder skirt, pit zips, and tons of pockets. The hood fits over my helmet and the color (glassy bay) is my FAV. I'm 5'2 105 lbs and opted for an XS for a more fitted look with room for layers. I previously tried the Astoria in Sm and it was too long and baggy (i was hoping for a baggy look but it just didn't work for me). So stoked to ride in my Stella and astoria bibs next week!
