I have been looking for a pair of bibs that is a tight/slim fit and long enough for quite some time now and to be honest -- it's been a bit of a challenge. I recently decided to try these and I am incredibly impressed. Not only are they long enough but they are also a super slim fit and look and feel great! Being tall, it is hard to find bibs that are long enough so I am STOKED!
Wore the bibs out once this season and loved them because I didn’t notice I was wearing them. I didn’t really want to take them off when we got back to the truck!
I was warm, dry in quite a lot of wet snow, and there was no restriction of movement, no fussing with zippers or clips. The material is light and flexible without feeling flimsy.
My one complaint is that the pant legs are pretty tight around my snowboarding boots. At one point I just skinned with the pants bunched above my boot. I’m sure it’s fine for ski boots or women that don’t have yuge feet.
Haven’t tested them on a multi day or for long term durability, but I am definitely happy with the purchase. I probably could have gotten away with a medium.

I absolutely love these bibs, they fit true to size, I got a M and I’m 5’5”, 145 lbs and don’t look too baggy or bulky. The straps are comfortable and the double breast pocket is great to keep the beacon and store snacks/phone. They keep heat in well but still have a comfortable breathability level. Pant leg easily fits over ski boots. The only feature I would tweak is the vents on the inside of the leg. While touring with the vents open, the zipper is right where legs rub together and I can see causing wear and tear to the zipper over time. If Trew were able to put the zipper on the outside of the leg, that would lead to a better bib.
The Chariot bibs kill it! I'd bet a season pass these were designed by women - that's exactly how they fit. There's room to move, but not so much room that I feel like I'm riding in a waterproof sack made for a dude. I'm 5'10"/140, and tried on the M and L. The length on the L was better for me, but the fit of the M was so good - more of a slimmed look and feel than bibs of my past. I can crouch down and come up in the M without them riding up or needing adjusting. The SuperFabric at the bottom is also a cool touch.
Side note: I got black because that's what I would buy in anything. But if you are considering the Stargazer or Pineapple, DO IT. Those colors are SO good in person.
My rating is just to give some sizing feedback- I'm 6'1" and 190, so I rarely buy women's gear as it's too small. Sad to say this was still the case with these bibs and I'll have to continue to strip down to pee. They were long enough which I was surprised by, but as soon as I tried to bend it felt like my thighs were going to rip through the seams.
Just leaving my measurements here in case any other big girls are feeling tempted.
Waist 33 inches
Thighs 26 inches (29 when bent, without any base layers on)
Hips 42 inches
Inseam 33 inches
Luckily the return/ exchange process is relatively painless and I'm going to order some men's larges instead.
