VALUES

We believe that people who have positive experiences in the mountains are better stewards for the environment, happier people in their communities, and more motivated to make the world a better a place.

Backcountry skiing and snowboarding is all about having great partners and sharing resources with the community. From our partners in our supply chain to our nonprofit partners that help our community, we strive to create lasting relationships that bring real benefits to our world.

Conservation

The conservation of North America's wild places ensures the existence of pristine backcountry zones for future generations to enjoy. We believe that it is our duty as backcountry skiers and snowboarders to advocate for and protect these most valuable places.

We are members of the Conservation Alliance, a group of like-minded companies that disburse its collective annual membership dues to grassroots environmental organizations. Since 1989, the Alliance has contributed more than $24 million to grassroots conservation groups and has helped save 73 million acres of wildlands. As members of the Alliance, our goal is to link the backcountry skiing and conservation communities.

Supply Chain

We believe that great products start with an equitable and high-quality supply chain. We strive to achieve quality and integrity in product manufacturing by maintaining transparency in our supply chain and verifying that our shared values and ethics are upheld by the standards in our Code of Conduct.

Find out more at our Supply Chain and Supplier Code of Conduct Page.

Community

The Oregon Community Foundation improves the lives of all Oregonians through the power of philanthropy. Since the onset of the COVID-19 crisis, we have donated proceeds from our mask sales to the OCF's Community Recovery Fund, benefiting the members of our community most impacted by the pandemic.

The I'm Not Done Yet Foundation helps adolescent patients with serious, long-term, and chronic illnesses transition from pediatrics to adulthood. The guiding light of this foundation is Bobby Menges. Snowboarder, musician, and activist, Bobby Menges is an inspiration to us and our community. We support the foundation through fundraisers and sales of custom branded merchandise.

Backcountry's better together.
