        Subpar fit, subpar warranty

I was really excited to try trew’s chariot bibs because a few of my friends have older versions and love them. However, the 2020 bibs fit TERRIBLY. I’m 5’8’’ 145 lbs and have been a medium in ever pair of bibs I’ve owned before. The medium chariot bibs were so tight I couldn’t bend over. I exchanged them for a large, which fit better in the thighs, but the the torso was baggy, which meant the crotch sagged. Because of the sagging the seams ripped after less than 30 days of use. I sent them in to be repaired, but they said the bibs would probably just continue to rip and that they could send me another pair, but they only gave me the option for a size XL. When I got this new pair, not only were they still form fitting in the thighs and too big in the torso, they were well used with pills and torn seam seal tape. After asking for a refund, I got $150 back. Pretty sub par if ya ask me. I will not be purchasing any gear from trew again.

        Happiest girl on the mountain!

I'm in love! I bought these last year and used and abused them. I ended up tearing the rear (my butt grew and I took them on a 3 day backcountry trip with my biggest days of the season, not a product flaw), and when I reached out to the Trew team I was met with the best customer service. They got me set up with a replacement pair all while dealing with Covid. I'm a big fan of the updated sizing as well. I would (and constantly do) 10/10 recommend these to EVERY girl I see. Straps are good. The cuffs fit over my ski boots great. I use and appreciate all the pockets. I tour in them often and the thigh zips are a regularly used feature. And I make friends with anyone else who dons Trew gear because they're ALWAYS stoked! Get these and join me as one of the happiest girls on the mountain! (Extra fun info: I'm 5'8", 150 lbs, my hips measure at about 40", but I'm slim hipped and broad shouldered. I wear a size L, and this leaves me a little extra room for weight fluctuation and some flexibility in the backcountry).

        The bibs you want

Trew Chariot Bibs are SOLID. I bought these for my wife after rocking a pair of mens bibs for the past two seasons. On the Chariot Bib they fixed a minor design issue that I noticed with mine - specifically making a more secure and solid connection between the shoulder straps and the front of the bibs. Lots of well placed pockets and the drop bottom make these bibs ultra functional.

        These are great!

These bibs are great I’m very happy with my purchase. They fit me basically perfect, for reference I’m 5’2 107lbs and I ordered XS. I can fit enough layers under to be warm and comfortable and still have room to move around. The length works with my boots on or even snow boots but I have to fold them up if I’m wearing sneakers. The material feels great, not too swooshy if you know what I mean and the brick red color is really nice, not too loud but real cute. The butt flap is a life saver! Such a great idea. I do kind of wish they had hip pockets for some place to put my hands but the arbitrary belt loops work. The thigh pockets don’t seem super functional but I think the butt flap is why they are positioned so low. I would take a butt flap over hip pockets any day, I just use the bib pockets for my phone. Customer service was Super helpful too when I asked about colors and stuff. Solid purchase, would recommend.

        So excited!

Just got my bibs in the mail and I am so excited! I have had a difficult time finding pants that fit: they’re all too tight in the quads and/or too loose in the waist/hips. So I decided bibs would fix the issue of my pants sliding down while I skin. I am 5’5, 130lbs with an athletic build (big quads and shoulders, not much going on in the hips or chest). I went with a size S based on the size chart. The quads are about as tight as I’d want them- tight enough to be form fitting but loose enough to bend my knees without feeling restrained. The bibs fit great in the hips and chest but a bit loose in the waist (which is fine- that’s where the beacon lives). The legs are a tad long for me but I have short legs for my height so I think it should be just right for an average 5’5 person (and I’m not too worried about that with boots on). Long story short, I’m stoked to have found bottoms that fit well and can’t wait to actually take these bibs out for some powder laps this weekend. Oh and the butt flap is awesome! Thanks Trew!
