These bibs blew my mind and everyone else's! I am 5'6 128lbs (size 28/6 jeans) have wider hips, a mid-sized booty, small waist, long legs and the medium fit perfectly. The butt flap is so impressive and has a great ease of use - huge plus! I've worn them skiing for a few days now and they have kept me warm and dry. They are also very lightweight and great for touring. I would not recommend for anyone shorter than 5'6'' with shorter legs, as the bibs run long. I also tried the powder pants but liked the fit of the bibs more. I can't wait to get another pair! #biblife
Super bummed by how these fit. I've been riding in the Chariot bib for 5 years and was so stoked to get a new pair with a BUTT FLAP. I sized up from my old larges to an XL thinking they would be perfect because of the size guide and my measurements and they were far from it. The thighs were way tighter than those of my old larges (XL tighter than a large? Whyyyyy) which were already too small, and with the zippers of the thigh pockets they were extra uncomfortable."flattering fit for those mountain thighs"? Not so much. The butt flap zipper sat over the middle of my butt and dug into it creating a very unfortunate indent across the middle of my rear. Excess fabric in the crotch then created another bummer look, and the back of the pants gaped out so if I was ever to ski without a jacket and take a spill, so much snow would fall in. Had to return 'em. Very sad. Very let down.
These lovely Chariot bibs just arrived a few days ago and I have had the opportunity to try them in a resort setting and backcountry setting. For both, they were warm, flexible, comfortable and the drop seat was AMAZING! I am 5' 3'' and 118lbs- the small sizing fit well. The length and size fit well over my boots and the pockets are helpful for resort passes, cards, phones, etc. The ventilation works great as well and the color (stargazer) is lovely. So glad I made this purchase and looking forward to many seasons with them!
I ordered a medium and the thighs were too tight. I'm 5'6" and 140, muscular and curvy build. Unfortunately they also seemed a little long so I wasn't comfortable sizing up. I'm usually a really regular sized woman and was bummed out that they didn't work out for me.
SO bummed about the design of these bibs. The body fit so well - fitted, but flexible and looked great. Then I go to try my ski boots on with them just to make sure they fit over them - several other reviews pointed out that they wouldn't fit over their boots - and they don't even come CLOSE!!! I truly am dumbfounded by how poorly designed the leg shaft of these are. They look narrow without even putting them on, and they don't have any kind of zipper adjustment or anything. Shouldn't fitting over most ski boots literally be the first thing you check when designing ski/snowboard pants?? Perhaps my boots are wider than the average (they are normal Technicas so pretty standard but who knows), but I really can't imagine a boot narrow enough for these to fit over. They didn't even make it over the tongue. So so disappointing. Trew - hire a new designer!
