        Sizing needs work

I loved the material, the vents, really almost everything about these bibs except the fit. My measurements landed me in the middle of the XL measurements. I ordered an XL and was swimming in them. I had a ton of space at my lower back and in the front. I tried a belt to cinch them down and there was too much extra material. I then ordered a large and they fit except for in the thigh and a little tight in the stomach but then still extra material at the lower back. Super disappointed I had to return both.

We hear you loud and clear, Meagan! Our Chariot Bib is a more form-flattering fit, and while we have a lot of women who love them they definitely aren't everyone's cup of tea. We have some exciting things in development though, and will be expanding our women's lineup soon with more bib fits and styles -- specifically bibs that work well for the curvier, more muscular ladies our there :) Thanks for giving us a try though, and hopefully we'll have some bibs that work for you in the near future!

        Great for short fellas

The Chariot Bib sz small fit be better than the same size men's bib. I liked that the women's bib fit less baggy on me, since I have a small frame.

Not for woman who have muscular thighs/butts

I was so excited for these bibs but was left feeling disappointed. I’ve heard great things about the company so I gave it a shot. Im 5’6 130 of muscle and pretty lean and a small in most my outdoor gear so I ordered a small and they were way too small. So I sent them back and got a medium and the bottom of the legs were massive, but squeezed my hips/butt, then loose in the top. It didn’t pass the squat test at all and I didn’t want to get a large because I know they would’ve just been way too big for me. I bought mine off of Evo but thought I’d hop on here to bring this awareness to the company to hopefully bring to their attention that they need to fix the cut of these for women with an athletic/slightly curvy build. The material also heavily attracts hair (human and dog), dust, dirt, making them look dirty when they shouldn’t. They DID feel really durable though so I will give them that.

Hey Allison, Thank you so much for sharing your feedback!! And we're sorry that you found the Chariot to be too small on you. We're always working to dial in our sizing and fits, and your insights are incredibly valuable as we improve on our product every season. The Chariot is a more form-fitting bib, but we do have big plans on the horizon to bring more women's bib fits and styles to the lineup in the next year or so - so keep your eyes peeled as we expand on our products and offer more inclusive sizing. We'll be emailing you directly as well to follow up and see if you have any other feedback on how we can further improve on these :) chat soon!

        Subpar fit, subpar warranty

I was really excited to try trew’s chariot bibs because a few of my friends have older versions and love them. However, the 2020 bibs fit TERRIBLY. I’m 5’8’’ 145 lbs and have been a medium in ever pair of bibs I’ve owned before. The medium chariot bibs were so tight I couldn’t bend over. I exchanged them for a large, which fit better in the thighs, but the the torso was baggy, which meant the crotch sagged. Because of the sagging the seams ripped after less than 30 days of use. I sent them in to be repaired, but they said the bibs would probably just continue to rip and that they could send me another pair, but they only gave me the option for a size XL. When I got this new pair, not only were they still form fitting in the thighs and too big in the torso, they were well used with pills and torn seam seal tape. After asking for a refund, I got $150 back. Pretty sub par if ya ask me. I will not be purchasing any gear from trew again.

Hey Savannah, we're very sorry to hear that you haven't had a great experience with the bibs or our warranty. We are always working to dial in our sizing each and every season, and your feedback is greatly appreciated as we work on expanding our women's line-up for next year - specifically adding more inclusive sizing and a more relaxed bib option for those who find the form-fitting Chariot to not work.

We are emailing you right now to sort out the warranty coverage for this, as it sounds like there may have been some miscommunication and we would love to get on the same page so that we can resolve this for you ASAP. We 100% stand behind our gear, and will go above and beyond to ensure that our customers - whether they like the gear or not - are happy :) chat more soon!

        Happiest girl on the mountain!

I'm in love! I bought these last year and used and abused them. I ended up tearing the rear (my butt grew and I took them on a 3 day backcountry trip with my biggest days of the season, not a product flaw), and when I reached out to the Trew team I was met with the best customer service. They got me set up with a replacement pair all while dealing with Covid. I'm a big fan of the updated sizing as well. I would (and constantly do) 10/10 recommend these to EVERY girl I see. Straps are good. The cuffs fit over my ski boots great. I use and appreciate all the pockets. I tour in them often and the thigh zips are a regularly used feature. And I make friends with anyone else who dons Trew gear because they're ALWAYS stoked! Get these and join me as one of the happiest girls on the mountain! (Extra fun info: I'm 5'8", 150 lbs, my hips measure at about 40", but I'm slim hipped and broad shouldered. I wear a size L, and this leaves me a little extra room for weight fluctuation and some flexibility in the backcountry).
