“You’re gonna need bibs.”

Long before bibs became what eight of your top ten riding buddies wear, we were on the train. The TREWth Bibs came from a longing for the bibtacular days of our youth, and a vow to create a pair of skiing and riding bibs that would change minds and set a new standard.

That was over a decade ago.

Now everybody wears snow bibs, and every outerwear company has a pair on offer. We’ll even admit there are some sick ones out there, but that shouldn’t come as a surprise—we’re just one powderfish in a big pond. What we’ll stand firm on is that we birthed the bib renaissance, and that the tenth edition of the TREWth Bibs still set the standard for function, fit, performance, and durability.

It’s a funny thing to love wearing bibs as much as we do. But is it funny to love the awesome scale of big mountains and the exhilarating feeling of being on top of them? To love the silence of a blizzard, the otherworldly physics of deep snow, and the floating eternity of the powder turn? Because for all of that, you’re going to need a good pair of bibs. Maybe that’s why they mean so much to us.

fell apart and no warranty

i bought these bibs and used them about 10 times. all the zippers delaminated, the crotch stitching came apart. I was told they would not warranty them because i didnt have the original receipt. The pocket also came apart and it had my truck keys in it. I'll never buy again

Mike, you purchased a six-year-old bib from a reseller store. We had no way to track the lifetime of the product and therefore can't support you with our warranty. We regularly fix and replace products from our customers, but we are sorry we can't help you on this one. We emailed you and offered you a discount on new gear. We hope you take us up on it!
Two thumbs up

I went bibs 10 years ago when TREW first came around, and will never wear pants again. 10 years ago I was laughed at for wear bibby’s, and now everyone I know wears bibs. Although I have since bought another pair, I still own and wear the first generation TREWTH bib at least a few days every season because I love them. Yes the velcro is shot, there are some patches here and there, and stained with all sorts of gunk, they still make me feel good.

Never knew what I was missing...

I’ve never worn a bib before and I am so excited I finally made the move. The Trewth bib is awesome. Fits great, looks great, top-notch quality... I’m ready to roll.

Thanks Peter! Welcome to the club. There's no turning back after you've worn Bibs.
Quality product

I ski over 200 days a year. I've probably got close to 400 days in this bib, and they don't have a single hole despite my narrow stance and tendency to "poke and pray" through east coast evergreens. They kept me dry in nip-deep japow. The New Zealand sun did not fade them. Still waterproof. All around top quality.

Look great but do not last

Bought these for my husband from a retailer in Bozeman for Christmas, paid full retail price. He does it all in these pants from daily laps, to skinning and racing in skimo competitions. These pants are amazing, but...First year he loved them, second year the cuffs started to fall apart, this year he put them on and spent two weeks skiing in them (he does ski patrol) early season, and got soaked! Huge disappointment in lasting quality. These pants are expensive and should last the way they are built, but was highly disappointed.

Michele, thanks for the feedback and for getting these bibs for your husband. He sounds like an awesome product tester and just the person we're designing bibs for. Please email us at and we'll repair or replace his bibs. All wear and tear from normal use of the products are covered by warranty.
