Snap On, Snap Off
Back by popular demand, the Snap Jack insulated overshirt is in the house. We kept it just how you like it: lightweight, warm, windproof, breathable, and business casual. It’s perfect under a shell as your midwinter midlayer, or as a shirt-jack for firewood splitting, high-desert car camping, warming up after a kiteboard session...you name it. We kept the Primaloft Gold insulation and durable DWR finish, but we changed up the look, incorporated a tougher ripstop dobby-weave shell fabric, and picked out some new colors to keep you stoked. Enjoy!

This is a very stylish top that can be used as a mid layer, but also can be used as a causal top for every day use. True to size fit.
I think I've worn my Snap Jack every day since I got it. Around the city on mild crisp days, over a hoodie walking around the city, under a shell for ugly cold rainy day commutes to the office, in the hut after a long day of touring, etc.
It gets a lot of attention and it just feels great.
The fit was a bit tight around the shoulders and arms in a Medium (which is what the sizing chart suggested for me), but the Large is perfect. A bit of extra room in the body but that just makes it look a bit more casual and lets me layer underneath too - all good.
Order was easy. Shipping was fast. Fit is great. Rad PNW mid layer. Would buy again!!
I'm short and I think this jacket is made for someone much taller than I. Given that it is not a tailored cut and comes straight down to even with my pants pocket bottoms, it just doesn't look right on me. I was trying to decide it I should send it back. Then I folded up the bottom to shorten it to see what it looked liked and it was much better (I like it). My wife is working on hemming it up now but I won't have the same drop in the back. I'm taking it up about 2.5 inches. The adjustments won't be done for a couple of weeks as other things have gotten in the way. As such I have not worn it to comment on the functionality but I think that I'll like both the design and the function.
