Stoked to an extent

I was immediately drawn to this jacket because of it's style and colorway. I share a similar opinion to Nick A's review and thought I was reading my own in that the zipper could be beefed up. I am actually on my second jacket as the zipper busted again. I am satisfied with the customer service and the attention they have given in this matter. 22 Ski season is over for me so I am looking to getting this zipped up and ready for 23 and beyond.

Strong Jacket

I picked up this Jacket for the 2022 season. So far, I've taken it to Whisler and Denver and it's performed really well. For being quite thin, it's thermally excellent and performs well with a thin base and a sweatshirt or fleece layer above it for cold weather. On the sunny days in Whistler in just above or below freezing, I would sweat with two layers below the jacket.

I picked up a large as a tall/lanky guy and it fits well but runs a little baggy for my body type. Without a second layer, the large feels slightly too roomy for me and folds strangely when sitting on the lift. So what I'm saying is: for dudes with a slightly thinner build, consider the medium if you like a tighter fit. The sleeves are long enough to accommodate either size. If you like it baggy, large is nice.

The quality of the build is REALLY strong to me. One of the nicer jackets I've ever owned. The colors are saturated and pop super well which makes for easy spotting in the lift line.

Happy Customer!!!

rad, not bad

it’s a beauty. got multiple compliments from strangers on my ‘bluegill’ colorway. shell material is good, not weighty, but not too thin and flimsy. roomy hood 👌. BUT…zipper broke on day 2. support has been good from customer service but just because the way things are (looking at you, covid) i’m waiting for repair instead of replacement, which is slowed by shipping. so the jacket that i hoped would be my sweet 2022 season shell is looking more and more like a 2023 piece. takeaway: the jacket would benefit from a burlier zipper.

Nick, we'll get that jacket fixed up for you asap! And while this zipper issue isn't common, we 100% agree and are looking at ways we can beef up to Powfunk zipper in the future to be more like the zippers on our Cosmic + Capow Jackets. Never hurts to 'burlify' a bit more :)

Nice design jacket from durable material, truly waterproof

I like the design and durability, but It is the first season so let's see how the quality will last in the future. It's truly waterproof, tested in pouring rain and bad winter conditions. I really like ergonomics of the hood - helmet fits perfectly! To explain why i don't give 5 stars - the zipper is only one side. For price range of this jacket I would expect double sided zipper. Also the sizing is quite weird - Its long jacket (which is good) but the sleeves are extensively long for the sizing. I had to take size M because the sleeves for size L (which i normally wear) are 2.5 inches longer than my regular L jacket size.

Great Jacket

Comfortable, stylish and great jacket. XL is the right size for me (6’5, 250) to layer and be good to go in all conditions!
