6'4" - 190lbs - Size Large
I wore my 2013 PowFunk all winter long for 6 winters (40 - 100+ days each season, mostly resort but some backcountry) until the zipper quit at the beginning of this season and I decided to buy the new version. 2013 version is still fully functional with the exception of a blown zipper - will probably get it fixed and keep using it thanks to bomber construction and timeless design.
Just received the new version and skied 2 full days in it and it feels like home! New PNW 3L fabric feels and looks great, pockets are super well thought out and the storm collar on this jacket is hands down the best I've seen (easy to zip up, amazing coverage, accommodates neck-warmer, helmet, etc.). I live and ski predominantly in Lake Louise, where it is super cold most of the time so I don't usually get a chance to properly assess the waterproof rating of any fabric until later in the season, but after skiing a storm the last couple of days and I can tell it is going to get the job done without any issue. Pair this baby with a Trewth Bib and layer properly and this jacket keeps the wind out and the warmth in - even just as a shell.
Fit notes: I am tall and skinny (noted above) and the large fits me flawlessly. Enough room for layers, sleeve length is enough to never ride up and the bottom of the jacket just covers my butt. I would not say it fits me "baggy", it fits me properly with full range of motion. If you have wide shoulders and/or are wider around the middle, I would definitely consider the XL. If you are similar in size to me and like it to look baggy, consider going XL as well.
All in all - incredible gear by these guys. I have my girlfriend and most of my friends in this gear now - I've seen a lot of it in action (Trewth Bib, Chariot Bib, Capow Bib, Cosmic Jacket, Hot Toddy Jacket) and the feedback is all 5 stars. First class customer service from the TREW team is the icing on the cake. These guys consistently deliver the goods!
Thanks, TREW!
