Cosmic Charlie, how do you do? Truckin' in style along the avenue.

Whether it’s an ‘84 Toyota Pickup or an eight-pound sledgehammer, we admire things with straight, clean lines that embody function and eschew fussiness. They tend to work well and they usually last a long time, and that’s what we consider good design.

The Cosmic Jacket is our tribute to this principle. So much so that if you already own one, well . . .  you probably won’t need another jacket for quite a while, if you even want one. It combines classic alpine design with modern materials and thoughtful updates to deliver a backcountry-ready, resort-appropriate shell that is iconically timeless, functional, and tough.

      Cosmic is the TREWth

Been a fan of TREW for a long time and finally got a Cosmic to replace my AK. This jacket is bomb proof! I live in the PNW and the material beeds everything and keeps you dry. While riding on a snowy deep day , all my friends’ gear soaked through but I was completely dry . I bought the cosmic and trewth bib together and could not be more stoked ! I’m 6’3” 215 with athletic build and wear an XL in both and the fit is spot on . Cannot go wrong with this jacket!

      Cosmic Jacket

      PNW Proof

I was up at Alpental, WA on this past Sunday. We had received 66" of Cascade Concrete in the past 4 days and I was ready to surf that fresh pow. I pulled on my Cosmic jacket, buttoned the powder skirt and got out there. Well I'll tell you, by the time lunch rolled around, I was tired and sore, as were my brother and his girlfriend. We got into the lodge and they looked at me and said, "We're both soaked!" I turned to them to say the same thing...but I can't lie. I was dry as a bone. Drier than the Sahara desert. Drier than British socialite humor. Drier than...a clothes dryer.

The Cosmic Jacket took a pounding from some of the wettest snow the PNW has to offer and I came out warm and dry. What a great buy! The hood fits over my XXL helmet, the pass pocket it fantastically convenient, because I hate moving my torso at all (its all in the hips), and the powder skirt doesn't ride up and let my waist get soaked. 10/10 would recommend.

      First Trew jacket

Amazing jacket, very light and doesn't hold water. I really like the fit with longer arms and torso than you expect on a medium, usually I have to size up for longer arms and end up with a baggy fit, not here.

      A Trewly amazing jacket

Jacket fits true to size, and holds its own in adverse weather conditions.

However the real mark of quality happened today. While finding my line down a double black today I ended up doing some cartwheels instead. Well I had a beer in the front left pocket that I was going to slug post run. As I got on the lift after the “successful” run I unzipped my pocket to enjoy my brew after a hard fought battle with the slopes. Only to find out that it had completely exploded from the earlier cartwheels on the mountain. However not a drop had leaked out of the jacket and with some help from my friends, I was able to still enjoy what the remained of the beer and stay dry. Thanks Trew.
