First off 5-Star service... no complaints there. A lovely girl sent me 3 colorways in 3 sizes to let me put my hands on and figure out the right size with free shipping labels included for the returns. Unheard off from other retailers.
I'm a heavy set dude 5'9, 230lbs, 44in chest and probably 42in around the belly. Ended up with an XXL that is longer than I'd prefer but works fine with ski boots on. For some perspective, the legs/thighs fit fine into the L and XL, but zipping up the torso was quite impossible. With the XXL, i've now got roomy legs and roomy torso and able to layer more underneath if that was my preference.
I've never had "fancy" bibs before but have had many different ski pants/bibs both insulated and not from various brands including from Columbia and The North Face. In comparison, this bib material just feels nicer overall and looks to be more waterproof. The green material is almost too soft... I've had these out and about for about 12 full resort ski days and put some scratches into the material but nothing that has compromised the waterproofing as far as I can tell.
The bad is no easy bathroom access round the back and the shoulder straps do not detach so you have to almost take the whole bib off to sit on a toilet. Also, bright green doesn't look so hot once it's dirty so I'm generally forced to wash it after 2-3 full days. (I'm usually hesitant to wash stuff that is waterproof since that seems to wear away at the proofing...)
The Retro colorway is bomb but you need a bit of "I don't give a shit!" to wear it well!
