Designed in collaboration with CAPOW Guiding of Revelstoke, British Columbia

Looking to put some more glide back in your stride? The Capow Bib is the quintessential backcountry ski and splitboard bib for alpine touring aficionados.

Giving the same attention to the breathability, abrasion resistance, and weight of the Capow Bib as we did the Capow Jacket, we placed stretch-woven fabric in the chest and back, lighter panels of PNW3L fabric in the body and thighs, and heavier, more durable fabric in the seat and lower legs. Then we focused on movement: PNW3L has stretch built in by design, but we wanted a slimmer silhouette with zero binding through the whole uphill and downhill range of motion, so we created an articulated pattern that feels as natural on the skin track as wearing your birthday suit. Finally, we turned to storage, and if you know us, you know that means we gave the Capow Bib plenty of pockets. Whether it’s because you’ve stuffed your jacket in your pack for the uphill and need a spot for your gloves and gogs, or you’re just hauling a metric ton of extra snacks, you’ll find space in these bibs in addition to a dedicated beacon pocket.

The Bibs I've Been Waiting For!

I'm completely, 100% sold on the CAPOWs! After owning 2 pairs of TREWth bibs over the past 6 seasons, wearing them out on many hundreds of ski outings and 60+ months of TAY, I'm fully stoked with the fit and function of the CAPOWs.

They are basically everything I loved about my last pair of TREWth's and all of the things that I wanted fixed about them rolled into the perfect ski pant. They are more fitted and less boxy in the chest, the suspenders are sized correctly and have a lot more room for adjustment. The transceiver pocket is everything I've wanted for years and it's so nice to finally put it to use on these bibs. The construction feels more solid than my 2 previous pairs of TREWth's and having the zippered vents both inside and outside the leg is a welcomed addition. What else? The pocket layout is intuitive and feels second nature. :)

I am 5'6", 155lbs, 31" waist & 29" inseam and the size Small fit me perfect. They're more of a tailored fit compared to my past size Small TREWth's and I couldn't be more stoked on them. If you are on the fence about making the CAPOWs your next pair of ski pants, don't be. Pick them up and you'll thank yourself later.

    Great cut for tall/athletic build

After owning and loving my TREWTH bib for hundreds of days across 4 continents, it was finally time to lay them to a much deserved rest. I'm 6'2 185 lbs with fairly long legs and narrow waist... I had the TREWTH in a medium and the fit was good but a little baggy at the waist and a little short in the inseam. I tried a medium in the capow at first and it was a bit too snug- the large is absolutely perfect and customer support was very friendly and responded quickly.
Thanks TREW team for making fantastic products and offering great customer service!

    Awesome Touring Bibs

Very happy with the bibs, fit is excellent and the pockets are great. No extra fluff where it's not needed, beacon pocket is in a great location and is just big enough to fit it in there without it slopping all over the place. Vents work great and the extra padding on the bottom is a nice touch to combat sharp ski edges.

    Very disappointed

My center snap broke upon first use and the “Superfabric cuff guard and instep protection” has several rips in the fabric after one tour.

Hey Drew, we are so sorry to hear that you are not happy with the Capow Bibs and are reaching out to your personally at this moment to see how we can remedy this situation for you!
