    Imagine the perfect mid-layer: soft, stretchy, warm-where-you-need it, breathable-where-you-want-it, cozy, and stylish. Well, that's pretty much what we've got here with the Half Jack.

    We are big fans of bibs ourselves (obvi) so we dialed the fit and function towards our bib-wearing brethren; the insulation ends about where the bib begins. 150g of insulation in the chest and back provide a cozy dose of synthetic warmth. Perfect for chilly, early-morning starts or for all-day resort laps. Sometimes half the jack is all you need.

    • 150g loose fiber synthetic insulation
    • Soft and stretchy and warm 
    SLEEVES/LOWER BODY MATERIAL:
    • 180G bonded polyester fleece with grid back

      Breathable and warm!

      I bought this not really thinking it would be that great...incorrect! My main issue when out in the backcountry is overheating. This half jack is super breathable and kept me warm in mid-30s weather (no sweating backcountry hiking even after 1k ft. elevation gain). It’s also perfect if you wear bibs in the backcountry because of the way it’s designed, it has the insulation where your bibs don’t cover, and wind breaking material elsewhere...it’s very well thought out.

      Super impressed with how well it performed! Trew definitely knows the Trewth and creates quality gear!!

      Absolutely brilliant jacket/mid-layer. I love this half jacket - I wear it on the mountain but also just around town. It's perfect - I'm glad I made the purchase and I get so many compliments on it. Do it!

      Jacket is the perfect Combo for the Trew bibs. Perfect for the cold strom days. For sizing I got the small I’m a female 5’ 8’’ 145 pounds. The only thing is the fit is big in the shoulders. It would be nice to have a women-specific Model

      Half Jack is just what the doctor ordered

      Warm, comfortable and replaces the need for a couple shirt layers. It's the perfect complement to my Trewth Bib. Absolutely love it.
