Global Climate Strike: PDX Edition

By Nate Duffy on

On Friday, September 20th youth in cities around the world left their classrooms to participate in a Global Climate Strike. The turnout worldwide was astounding and captivating to say the least. Here in Portland we locked up HQ for a few hours and joined the march from downtown across the Hawthorne bridge. It can be a little overwhelming to consider the global factors that contribute to global climate change but after what we witnessed Friday here in our hometown and around the world, we’d say the future is looking bright. The youth are openly educating themselves and this is an incredible rally point for the human race. Big change starts with the individual, check out Protect Our Winters for ways you can become an active member in your snow community.
